Facilities Managers work within individual schools or across a multi academy trusts of all sizes and scope. They are responsible for the safe, secure and comfortable day-to-day working environment for school properties, assets and services that must be fully compliant with health and safety and other legislation.
They are accountable for the management of the delivery of all facilities management services within their area of responsibility. They will ensure that levels of performance delivered exceed school or multi academy trust expectations within budget for the properties, assets and services.
At a strategic level, it contributes to the delivery of the overall operational objectives of the school or multi academy trust.
