The primary role of a digital marketer within a school and multi academy trust (MAT) setting is to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms.
A digital marketer will typically be working as part of a team, in which they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or campaign. They will normally report to a marketing or IT manager.
The marketer will work on marketing briefs and instructions by building, maintaining and reviewing school and/or MAT websites, via coding and analytics. They will also develop the platforms to communicate internally and externally with stakeholders.
